Industry Expert Guest Blog: Nurse Mary J with 5 Steps to Cannabis Advocacy

When I first joined Twitter in the dildo capacity about a year and a half ago, I found a handful of awesome, welcoming, and genuine people right away. One of those people is the beautiful lady behind Nurse Mary J Tattoo Aftercare – Colleen Kibler.

She’s an educator, blogger, businesswoman, cannabis advocate, and total badass to name a few. She’s modest and kind, and is the type of person who takes the time to tell you she appreciates you. She’s the first person who popped into my mind when I wanted to bring you a guest blog, and I’m thrilled that she not only accepted but also wrote a fantastic blog post with little to no guidance.

Review: Flowermate V5.0S Mini Pro from Vaped.com

Short on Time? Scroll Down for the Quick Analysis!

The Flowermate V5.0S Mini Pro from Vaped is a compact, rectangular-shaped, lightweight vape with several temperature settings that can fit right into your pocket. It’s a little more updated than some vapes because it has a digital display that shows the temperature setting and battery consumption. It has a glass mouthpiece that cools the vapor as you inhale it, and also includes a water pipe adapter if you’d like to attach it to your bubbler for an even cleaner pull – I’ve never seen that before.

It has a temperature range of 104°F – 446°F which is a pretty broad range, and the temperature is set by using the two buttons located near the digital screen. Once you choose a setting, it takes about 30 seconds to heat up. It charges via USB so it’s incredibly easy to charge most places you go. A full charge should get you about 75 minutes; I noticed (more…)

Why I Smoke Marijuana, and What Happened After I Quit Recently

Why do we do anything? Why do we make decisions or have opinions? No one (hopefully) tells us what to do, we’re bipedal Homo sapiens; we generally have the ability to make our own choices based on our own logical thinking. We all have unique intuition, tastes, desires, interests, thinking, preferences, and opinions, and we integrate all of those factors subconsciously in every decision we make. But what happens when someone questions our decision-making and tells us we’re making the wrong choice after going through our instinctual process? Lots of people don’t care what others think of them, but it haunts many people like me.

Last year I had the biggest blowout with my family that I’ve ever had before, andJudgment Hammer Fine Penalty Clause Law Court it was because I was berated and judged in my own home. My parents have expressed to me via some comment or joke here and there about (more…)

Review: Bucky King Co. Gravity Bong – Video & More

Short on Time? Scroll Down for the Quick Analysis!

Remember the time(s) in high school when you or your friend made a pipe out of a Poland Spring bottle and a straw, or a gravity bong out of a Mountain Dew bottle and aluminum foil on the fly?  Later on, like me, you may have graduated to separating your real pipe and jury-rigging the bowl piece on top of your Mountain Dew bottle cap for your gravity bong. They were the worst of times, yet probably also the best of times looking back. Oh, the things we design to get high.

Adults should smoke weed with proper, safe, and quality pieces out of respect for the herb, and largely our health. Smoking with aluminum foil and straws really should be reserved for emergencies only. Bucky King Co. realizes that, so they’ve created “The World’s Greatest Gravity Bong,” the Bucky Top.

Review: Chameleon Glass Wake ‘n Bake Mug

Short on Time? Scroll Down for the Quick Analysis!

20160929_161155

I really associate the Wake ‘n Bake mug with relaxation. This isn’t the kind of thing you take on the go; I see this mug being used on a lazy Sunday afternoon with your feet up looking out at the lake, on vacation at a cabin in the woods, or in bed at night (more…)

Review: Arizer Air Vaporizer from Vaped

Short on Time? Scroll Down to the Bottom for the Quick Analysis!

In full disclosure/testimony, I am not low as I write this review, thanks to the Arizer Air from Vaped. I typically try a product out a few times before I review it, and usually once again right before I write about it so I can capture my most honest impressions of it. I just (more…)

Ophelia’s First Anniversary Bash – Giveaways, Reviews, Activities, and Stray Llamas

Thoughts With a Dildo in Hand has existed in my mind for a couple of years now, and I finally released it to the world just over one year ago. For my first anniversary, I’m throwing a month-long virtual bash in your honor. After all – I’d just be talking to myself if I didn’t have my faithful readers.

So, thank you.

To celebrate, I’ll be reviewing some awesome products and giving away a bunch more. I’ll be sharing personal stories of other ‘firsts’ I’ve had, and have other fun things to do too. There will also be llamas.

Review: ‘Complete Solution’ from Chameleon Glass

As always, scroll down for the Quick Tech Specs!

If you like dabbing and also like smoking dry herb, it’s a real bitch to have to tote around two different rigs. That’s one reason why Chameleon Glass came up with the ‘Complete Solution.’ It’s a combination dab rig AND bubbler, so all you have to do is switch out the attachment when you want either combustion or atomization. Plus, it DISASSEMBLES for easy cleaning and traveling. I’d say it can’t get much more ‘complete’ than that.

Review: The Silver Surfer Vaporizer from Vaped

As always, scroll down for the Quick Tech Specs!

I’ve tried several portable vaporizers in the past few years but I hadn’t yet encountered a desktop vape in my travels. We’ve all heard of the Volcano Vaporizer, but you don’t hear too much about any other brands of desktop vapes. I assure you, more exist. Vaped.com carries a great selection of both portable and desktop vaporizers, all of which have been researched thoroughly by Vaped and given their official stamp of approval. When they say they “live and breathe vaporizers,” they mean it – I haven’t found a vape from their website that I don’t like.

I’ve checked out the very user-friendly and chic Imag+, the multi-functional and never-dying Haze V3 Dual Chamber, the classy (and even vibrating!) Focusvape, and the dual-use Arizer Solo that can be used as a vape or for aromatherapy! All have been extremely quality, reasonably priced, and have not disappointed me. This time, I’ve been tasked with scrutinizing the Silver Surfer Vaporizer and I’m excited to share my findings!

Included in the package is:

Chameleon Glass ‘Ladies’ Choice’ Review + 10% Off Code

I introduced you to Chameleon Glass a while back when I hosted the McCoy Oilers Reynolds Rig Giveaway. The piece that stood out to me most from their extensive collection is by far the ‘Ladies’ Choice’ for its elegance and sleek design. Pink and black happen to be my favorite combination too, and together they make this rig look extremely classy.

Being Judged for My Medicine | Why You Should Be Yourself

As I mentioned, I was recently put in an unfair and uncomfortable position by members of my family, but I tried to put a smile on and pretend anyway.

It led to the biggest blowout in our family history, and me having an anxiety attack in the dark on our closet floor.

I felt ambushed, judged, and disrespected in my own home. Like I said, my husband stood up for me which was amazing, but it also put him in a position of standing up to MY FAMILY. Of course, this caused additional issues between them. The result was the gang of family leaving and going to dinner while my husband pieced me back together.

Hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with Roll-uh-Bowl | 20+ Pictures!

I’ve always appreciated animals and nature, and the White Mountains in New Hampshire has become one of my favorite spots in the world. I’ve been going up there since I was 18 years old and still spend a lot of time there throughout the year.

I’ve had a lot going on in the last few months, and I recently finalized some things that were pretty time-consuming. I found myself struggling to stay motivated in the weeks leading up to the end so I decided I needed something to look forward to in order to get through it. So I booked myself a room for one for a week at our resort up in the mountains. Whenever I felt overwhelmed or got depressed, I’d fantasize about what I’d do on my ‘mental health holiday’ to get my spirits up.

Focusing on the Focusvape Vaporizer by Vaped

I’ve been trying out vaporizers from Vaped for a few months now and their products continue to dazzle me. Whenever I run a Vaped giveaway, one of the entries asks which Vaped product you’d like me to review next. You’ve asked, and you shall receive because this month I’ll be reviewing two of the top three that you chose – The Silver Surfer and the Arizer Solo. But for right now, I’ll be checking out the Focusvape.

February 10 Prize Giveaway | Haze V3 Dual Vaporizer

vape6

After reviewing and loving the Haze V3 Dual Vaporizer here, the owner at Vaped.com decided he’d like to give one away to my awesome readers. I love that it has two chambers that you can load up separately with dry herb, wax, concentrates, liquid, or one of each. The extra battery always comes in handy in an emergency when the battery dies ‘in action,’ so you’ll never be stuck with a dead vape.

This is a pretty sweet giveaway – the vape is worth $250, and there are 10 total prizes. That’s so 9 extra people aren’t sad that they didn’t win the Haze V3. 🙂

Joining the Mile ‘High’ Club | Cumming in for a Landing – True Story

mhc

We’ve all heard of the ‘Mile High Club,’ but ironically I’d somehow never ‘joined’ – so I decided to rectify that situation on a recent flight down south. I was alone, but the rules seem to indicate that there is such a thing as the ‘Solo Aviator Division.’ A last minute aircraft switch caused us all to get reassigned seats, which actually afforded me somewhat of an upgrade from my initial seat. Our original plane had two seats on either side of the aisle which makes for a rather intimate flight, but the equipment change to a larger plane had us all spread out with room to spare. I found myself in the window seat of row 8 with a handsome man in a business suit to my right with an empty seat between us.
